FAQ

Q: Will this chain work with my 11-speed drivetrain? A: Yes! This chain is designed for SRAM Road 11-speed groupsets and is also compatible with Shimano 11-speed road drivetrains. It's an affordable, reliable option for any 11-speed road bike setup.

Q: What's the difference between the PC1130 and PC1170 chains? A: The main difference is the pin construction - the PC1130 uses solid pins while the PC1170 uses hollow pins. The PC1170 is lighter and has more heavily chamfered outer plates for improved shifting, while the PC1130 offers excellent value and reliable performance at a lower price point.

Q: How does the PowerLock connector work? A: The PowerLock is a reusable connecting link that allows tool-free installation. Simply insert the PowerLock, press the ends together while pedaling, and it locks securely. This makes chain installation and removal much easier for cleaning and maintenance.

Q: How many links do I need - 114 or 120? A: Road bikes typically use 114 links, while mountain bikes or bikes with longer chainstays may need 120 links. You can always remove excess links to fit your specific drivetrain configuration. Measure your old chain or consult your bike's specifications.

Q: Can I use this with Campagnolo components? A: No, this chain is designed for SRAM and Shimano 11-speed systems. Campagnolo uses different spacing and geometry for their 11-speed drivetrains, so you'll need a Campagnolo-specific chain for proper shifting performance.
