FAQ

Q: What type of bikes is this chain designed for?
A: The CN-NX10 is designed for single-speed bikes, BMX, fixed-gear bikes, cruisers, and any 1/2 x 1/8 inch wide-chain applications.

Q: Will this chain work with my derailleur gears?
A: No, this is a wide (1/2 x 1/8 inch) single-speed chain and is not compatible with multi-speed derailleur systems, which require narrower chains.

Q: Will 114 links fit my bike?
A: 114 links is the standard length for most single-speed and BMX bikes. You can remove excess links to achieve the proper chain tension for your specific setup.

Q: How do I tension a single-speed chain?
A: Single-speed chains require proper tension - not too tight or too loose. Adjust using horizontal dropouts, a chain tensioner, or by removing/adding links. The chain should have slight vertical movement (about 1/2 inch) when properly tensioned.

Q: Do I need special tools to install this chain?
A: You'll need a chain tool to break and connect the chain. Some chains include a master link for easier installation and removal without a chain tool.
