FAQ

Q: Is this the right chain for my SRAM NX drivetrain? A: Yes! The PC-1110 is the officially recommended chain for SRAM NX 11-speed drivetrains. It's designed with SRAM's XX1 geometry to ensure optimal compatibility and performance across the entire NX ecosystem.

Q: Will this chain work with other 11-speed drivetrains? A: Yes, the PC-1110 is compatible with all SRAM 11-speed drivetrains (NX, GX, X1, X01, XX1) and is also compatible with Shimano 11-speed mountain bike drivetrains. It's a versatile and reliable choice for any 11-speed MTB setup.

Q: What is XX1 geometry and why does it matter? A: XX1 geometry refers to the inner and outer plate design originally developed for SRAM's top-tier XX1 chain. By using this proven geometry in the PC-1110, you get the same smooth, precise shifting characteristics as the flagship chain but at a more accessible price point.

Q: How does the PowerLock connector work? A: The PowerLock is a reusable connecting link that allows tool-free installation. Simply insert the PowerLock, press the ends together while pedaling, and it locks securely. This makes chain installation and removal much easier for cleaning and maintenance.

Q: How many links do I need for my mountain bike? A: The chain comes with 114 links, which is suitable for most mountain bike setups. You may need to remove some links depending on your frame size, chainstay length, and cassette size (typically 11-42T or 11-46T for NX drivetrains).
